INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The Investiture Ceremony of Citizens Group of Institution was held on 1st August 2012. On this day we swore in our office bearers, who vowed to up hold the values of the schools and to create the awareness among the students towards their duties and responsibilities to maintain the smooth functioning of extra curricular activities by investing them with some special duties and this was followed by the presentation of the badges by Mr U.N Padmanabha Rao to our newly elected cabinet of student council and oath taking ceremony was also conducted in which the newly selected cabinets to deliver their duties with pure mind and conscience and the ceremony was concluded with the singing of the school song.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

August 15th 2012 marked India’s 66th Independence Day. On this day Citizens Group of Institution joined in the Nationwide celebration to commemorate 66 years of our Independence and to honour the leaders, freedom fighters, patriots who worked tirelessly so as to be able to grant us the gift of a free India.In an effort to remind our students of the sacrifices made by the leaders of yesteryears and the challenges still to be faced, The Citizens Group of Institution celebrated Independence Day. The school ground was decorated with lot of flowers, tri Colour ballons and rangoli designs. The chief guest on this day were Dr Sundaresh and Sri U N Padmanabha Rao, The national flag was hoisted by Dr Sundaresh follow students awaking the spirit of patriotism in each one’s . We had a colourful match past with seven troops who were beautifully dressed in seven different costumes along with the band set troop after ‘Guard of Honour’. Prizes for the various competitions held on eve of Independence Day was given away by the guests and there was a dance performed depicting National Integration.

PICTURE COLOURING

Colouring the picture was conducted for Pre-KG on 10.8.2012, the children had to colour the National flag. They coloured the picture so beautifully and neatly that it was indeed a tuff job for the judges to judge the little once talent.

ARRANGING PAWNS

Pawns Arrangement was conducted on 6-8-12 for UKG children, two rounds was conducted and the little tots arranged the pawns very sweetly and in the final the winners were:

TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION

It was celebrated on a very grand scale, many games were conducted like Musical Chair, Treasure hunt and Throw ball matches for the teachers. The teams that came up to the semifinals was captain Ali’s team and captain Nithya’s team, it was like watching the clash of the titans. A grand lunch with a lot of varieties, soft drinks, fruits salad & ice cream were served to the teachers and for students who were the host for conducting teachers day. Teachers carried home gifts, greeting cards given by the management and their good wishes. It was a lovely day to be remembered.

SPORTS DAY

The LPS and HPS Sports Day was held during the month of November. The heats were completed earlier and The little tots of LPS were very attractively dressed for the Fancy Races. Many events took place for HPS like Cricket, Running race, Long jump, Discuss throw and so on.

LAUNCHING OF NEWSLETTER

The School / College Newsletters was launched on 08/11/2012 by Sri Basvaraj, Assistant Comissioner of Police in order to serve and provide one of the ways of communication between the school, Parents, Staff members and our dear students. Our News Letter is a vital tool in providing students and parents complete information about our Institute.
